Nissan NV200 Electric

Introducing the Nissan NV200 Electric. Nissan’s class leading battery technology in an affordable and durable work van. This unit comes with all the features you’ve come to expect from a Nissan , with the added benefit of a no-emissions electric drive-train that provides clean and quiet comfort while on the road. The NV200 Electric is the perfect urban work vehicle providing both range and utility. Let’s take a closer look to see all that this vehicle has to offer.

The Nissan NV200 uses the same 40kWh battery pack as the Nissan Leaf, so you can be sure of its reliability and functionality. With a range of 124 miles, you’ll have ample battery life to get you from job to job without a hitch. The NV200 comes with 3 charging connections allowing you to charge from 10-80% in only 45 minutes. To get from 0-100%, you’ll only need 7 hours and 30 minutes; an easy overnight charge. To round out the battery discussion, Nissan also provides an 8 year/100,000 mile battery warranty in case of damage or malfunction.

The NV200 has three trims available: the Visia, the Acenta, and the Tekna. The Visia trim comes standard with steel wheels, sliding doors, a steel bulkhead, and offset steel double-doors at the rear. The interior comes with a stereo, electric windows, a USB connection, and Bluetooth connectivity, so you’ll be able to go hands free with your mobile device for a safer driving experience. Also standard at this trim level is a push-button start.

The Acenta trim adds rapid charging capabilities, automatic air conditioning, a reverse camera, and battery heating and cooling; a feature which reduces battery energy consumption and therefore increases range. Also added is cruise control with a speed limiter function; allowing for a more comfortable, stress free, and safe driving experience. At this trim level, Satellite Navigation is also an option, allowing you to go anywhere without fear of losing your way.

The Tekna trim is the highest available trim level and is replete with all the modern features you’ve come to expect from Nissan. The Tekna trim comes standard with Satellite Navigation, automatic head lights and wipers, as well as 15” allow wheels to keep you riding in style.

One of the most important features of any work van is the cargo space and capacity, as well as the vehicles payload capacity. Given the NV200’s design, and the fact that it has 2 seats in the cab, there is plenty of space in the load area for all your work related tools, equipment, and supplies. There is a total of 4.2 cubic meters of cargo space in the rear with 1.22 meters between the rear wheel arches. The cargo area height is 1.36 meters allowing for comfortable entry and exit, as well as ample room for taller items. The rear sills 524mm off the ground, allowing for an easy step into and out of the loading area. There are also 6 d-ring lashing points with a maximum capacity of 500kg each. These allow for stable carrying and anchoring of everything in the cargo area.

The NV200 also has a maximum carrying capacity of 705kg, making it more than capable of carrying both tools and equipment to and from the job site. Nissan also offers floor protection for the load area as well as protection for the walls and doors.

As for safety, the Nissan EV200 comes standard with electronic stability control on all models, tire pressure sensors, and ABS with brake force distribution. Given the NV200 electric’s combination of performance, range, features, safety, and reliability, there really isn’t a better electric work van option on the market today!
